WE DESERVE THIS is an instrumental, post-rock solo project of Jan-Dirk Platek from Velbert/Germany. Born in 1976, Jan became a multi-instrumentalist at an early age learning from his grandfather who was a music teacher. Jan is a professional sound engineer, who handles every aspect of music production from writing to recording and mixing all of his own records.

Jan is heavily influenced by the works of many great artists including Cloudkicker, Lights&Motion, Mogwai, Explosions in The Sky, and Mono. He continues to produce and release music at an astonishing rate, of which you can easy find on Spotify or the official BandCamp page.
